Bill Cash backs Apprentice Helpline reaching out to business in Staffordshire

 Press release 12/10/2012

Stone MP, Bill Cash, has backed the new Apprentice Helpline, launched by Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, which is continuing to provide businesses in Stafford with the vital advice they need to successfully take on an apprentice.

The helpline available on 0300 111 8002 has trained advisers standing by to give advice on everything from finding the right young person, the steps needed to set up a successful apprenticeship programme, to the grants available for employers taking on their first apprentice.

Cash said:
“Apprenticeships present a real opportunity for many young people and can bring huge business benefits at the same time.
“I very much support the launch of a new Apprenticeship Helpline and I hope that it makes life easier for local businesses and gives them the necessary advice and expertise they need to take on an apprentice.”
